Frequently Asked Questions

How fast do you confirm availability and pricing?

Fast. Once you submit a request through our real-time availability tool, we'll come back with date/time options and an all-in estimate, typically within one business day, often sooner. No back-and-forth chains. You get a clear package price with inclusions and any optional add-ons called out upfront, so there's nothing to decode and nothing that shows up on the invoice later as a surprise.

Is your Wi-Fi and AV reliable enough for hybrid meetings?

Yes, and we built around that assumption, not as an afterthought. Our space runs on 1Gbps connectivity with enterprise security options including WPA3 and VLAN network segmentation for sensitive sessions. AV is hybrid-ready by default: broadcast-grade hardware options include 4K camera support and array microphone configurations for clear, boardroom-quality audio and video. We also have on-site IT staff available to support setup and troubleshoot in real time, so your team isn't scrambling five minutes before a CEO joins remotely.

How private is the executive boardroom?

Very. The private room seats up to 40 and is designed with true acoustic privacy in mind, professional sound dampening, measurable sound isolation targets, and STC guidance available for teams that need confidence on confidentiality. You also get a private entrance, private bar, and private restrooms, plus instant visual privacy options for sensitive discussions. If your conversation involves IP, board-level strategy, or anything you wouldn't want overheard, this room was built for exactly that.

Do you support dietary restrictions and allergies?

Absolutely, allergy-aware planning is built into every group event, not treated as a last-minute accommodation. We cover a wide range of common needs including gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, nut-aware, soy-free, sugar-conscious, lactose-free, corn-free, caffeine-free, and trans fat–free options. Your dedicated events contact will collect restrictions from your team ahead of time and confirm the plan with you directly, so nothing falls through the cracks on the day of.

What’s included in the ‘all-in’ packages?

Every package includes a dedicated events point-of-contact, allergy-aware dietary planning, baseline AV setup, a dedicated host for your event, and clean invoicing with taxes and service charges clearly outlined. Package inclusions and any optional add-ons are quoted upfront, what you see in the estimate is what you pay. We offer three core formats (Executive Dinner, Roundtable Session, and Micro-Offsite), each tailored to a different kind of event, and we're happy to walk you through which one fits.

Can you do buyouts or semi-private events?

Yes to both. Our main dining area seats up to 100 and supports flexible layouts for semi-private or full buyout configurations. The patio seats 60 and works well for open-air micro-events or relaxed receptions. For more intimate needs, the private boardroom seats 40 with complete privacy. We can also configure combinations of spaces depending on your event flow, just let us know what you're working with and we'll propose the right setup.

What are the best start times to avoid Shoreline traffic?

We're located at 1390 Pear Ave in Mountain View, right across from Google HQ, so yes, Shoreline-area traffic is real, especially on weekday afternoons. For evening events, we generally recommend arrival times of 6:30 PM or later, once the bulk of commute traffic has cleared. For daytime sessions, starting at 11 AM (when we open on weekdays) or scheduling around the 10 AM–11 AM and 1:30 PM–2:30 PM windows tends to work well. We're happy to advise on timing based on your specific date and guest locations.

Do you require a site visit?

It's not required, but we recommend it, especially for high-stakes events where layout, acoustics, and AV configuration matter. If an in-person visit isn't practical, we offer a 3D virtual walkthrough that gives you a detailed feel for the space, sightlines, and room setup options. Either way, your dedicated events contact will handle all the planning details so you feel confident well before event day.
